Apollo-6 Personnel Transfer Basket - Brazilian Waters
The Apollo-6 Personnel Transfer Basket is manufactured in stainless steel and features an external structure designed to protect passengers against lateral and vertical impacts. During transfer operations, passengers are transported seated and secured with 4-point safety belts, providing greater stability and protection. The seats are attached to a vertical stainless-steel column and are equipped with a shock-absorbing system developed to reduce the effects of vertical impacts during operation. The equipment also includes an emergency system that replaces the main lifting cable in the event of a possible rupture. The Apollo-6 complies with the new regulation issued by the Brazilian Directorate of Ports and Coasts, NORMAM-321, formerly NORMAM-05, delivering safety and compliance for personnel transfer operations.
