Navigate with confidence: Discover our services for vessels

Maintaining the efficiency and reliability of lifesaving and safety equipment is essential to protecting crew members on board vessels. Our specialized team provides complete inspection, maintenance, and testing services, strictly following technical standards and regulatory requirements. We serve vessels, shipyards, and building systems in Itajaí, Santa Catarina.

Lifesaving

Liferafts and Inflatable Floating Devices (AFIs)

Servicing of lifesaving equipment is mandatory every 12 months to maintain functionality, reliability, and regulatory compliance. The process includes complete opening of the equipment, leak-tightness and pressure tests, cylinder testing and refilling, replacement of expired survival items, painting of the canisters and cylinder, as well as labeling and issuance of a new certificate of conformity.

These procedures keep liferafts ready for immediate use, increase their durability, and provide maximum safety for the protection of lives in emergency situations.

Firefighting

Fire Extinguishers

We perform fire extinguisher servicing, maintaining full regulatory compliance and preventing failures in emergency situations.

The process includes checking for corrosion, dents, cracks, and mechanical damage; complete disassembly of the extinguisher; internal inspection of the cylinder; internal and external cleaning; inspection and replacement of wear parts; refilling of the extinguishing agent, when applicable; pressurization according to the manufacturer’s specifications; leak and tightness testing; application of the maintenance seal, safety lock, and identification tag; and issuance of the service certificate or technical report.

Fixed Fire-Fighting Systems

We perform inspection and maintenance of fixed systems in accordance with regulatory standards, making sure that all devices are in perfect operating condition.

We carry out a visual inspection of the cylinder bank, including verification of the cylinder and support fastenings, checking of cylinder pressures and weights, as well as inspection of valves, actuators, and release devices. Piping, supports, discharge nozzles, alarms, activation devices, and blocking and safety systems are also assessed. Any identified non-conformities are corrected, followed by the issuance of the technical report and certificate.

Emergency Breathing Equipment

Self-Contained Breathing Apparatus (SCBA)

We provide complete technical services for SCBAs, including leak-tightness tests, pressure checks, cylinder integrity assessment, sanitization, and certification of breathing air purity, making sure the equipment is ready for safe use in hazardous environments.

Emergency Escape Breathing Device (EEBD)

We perform technical inspection of EEBDs, including leak-tightness, pressure, and component integrity checks, confirming that the equipment is in proper condition for immediate use in evacuation and emergency situations.

Breathing Air Compressor Systems

We perform inspection services on breathing air compressors, focusing on filter verification, separation systems, component operation, and certification of air quality and purity, providing breathable air supply in accordance with current standards.

Safety

Apollo 6 Personnel Transfer Basket

The annual inspection of transfer baskets is mandatory to ensure operational safety and comply with legal requirements. The inspection must be carried out by a specialized technical team authorized by the manufacturer, in compliance with Normam-321 of the DPC. During maintenance, the equipment is fully disassembled, and each fixed or removable component is thoroughly inspected. Damaged or worn parts are repaired or replaced, ensuring full compliance with safety requirements. Upon completion of the inspection, the basket is issued an Inspection Certificate, ensuring traceability, reliability, and compliance with maritime authority regulations.
