The TH/15-1 Emergency Escape Breathing Device (EEBD) is an emergency escape device designed to provide breathable air in environments with toxic gases, smoke, or oxygen deficiency. Supplied in a carrying bag, the equipment is automatically activated when opened, releasing the air supply from the 3 L steel cylinder. It features a hood with automatic adjustment through an inflatable air cushion integrated at the back of the head, providing secure sealing, breathing comfort, and keeping the user’s hands free during evacuation. It includes an alarm whistle to indicate when the air supply is close to depletion. Intended exclusively for emergency escape, it complies with ISO 23269-1, EN 1146, and applicable IMO/SOLAS requirements. It has a usage duration of 15 minutes, dimensions of 590 x 250 x 175 mm, and an approximate weight of 7 kg. Periodic technical servicing, including hydrostatic testing of the cylinder according to the applicable standard, must be carried out by an authorized service station.
