The Line-Throwing Appliance is a pyrotechnic device that emits an intense red flame when fired and is used for external signaling in emergency situations. The product consists of a sealed plastic casing that houses the projectile. The end caps are removed only before firing, allowing access to the activation mechanism lever. The projectile is equipped with a solid-fuel propulsion motor and a consolidated pyrotechnic composition. After activation, the projectile is ejected through an aluminum seal in the casing.
